Africa Education Indaba Abstract Book

The African Education Indaba 2025 Abstract Book brings together 31 abstracts presented during the conference held in Limbe, Cameroon, from 31 March to 2 April 2025 under the theme "Bridging the Attainment Gap: Transforming Education in Africa for the 21st Century."

The publication showcases diverse perspectives from researchers, educators, policymakers, practitioners, and development partners across Africa. It covers key topics including foundational literacy and numeracy, teacher professional development, evidence-informed decision-making, digital learning and artificial intelligence, inclusive education, stakeholder engagement, gender equality, indigenous knowledge systems, and knowledge mobilisation.

Together, these contributions highlight innovative, evidence-informed, and African-led approaches to addressing the continent's most pressing educational challenges. The Abstract Book serves as both a record of the conversations held during the Indaba and a resource for advancing dialogue, collaboration, and action towards more equitable and effective education systems across Africa.
